Mount St. Helens is an active stratovolcano located in Skamania County, Washington. Mount St. Helens is most notorious for its catastrophic eruption on May 18, 1980, at 8:32 a.m. PDT, the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States. Rick Hinderer climbed Mount St. Helens in 2012. The Hinderer Mount St. Helen bead was made to mimic the lava crater in the middle of the mountain, so that we could bring a little of the mountains home to you!
Summit Series Blue Titanium South Sister Bead

The South Sister is a part of the Three Sisters unit, and is the youngest and tallest volcano of the trio. The Three Sisters are located on the boundary of Lane and Deschutes County, and the Willamette and Deschutes National Forest. South Sister has an intact summit crater about 0.25 mi in diameter with a small crater lake, Teardrop Pool, which is the highest lake in Oregon. Rick Hinderer plans to climb the South Sister in the near future. The Hinderer South Sister bead resembles the mountain in that it has 3 peaks to represent each sister in the trio.

Rick Hinderer sees Mount St. Hood while he is on the plane coming home from Oregon quite often, which inspired the design behind the Hinderer Mount St. Hood bead. The design was made to give the impression of the ascend up to the summit of the mountain.
